Here's a fun little project to do some cool online ads for Fuse. These are very much brand focused, rather than pushing a program or product. I love projects like this. You can just go nuts and let your imagination flow, bug out for a few hour, drink a few cups of coffee, smoke a few cigarettes and think a trippy stuff that the kids will like. You know, "the kids"? You used to be one – but now when you think of being that age it makes you sad/suicidal and wonder why you've toiled your life away chasing the all-mighty dollar, when you could have lived (and died) happily touring across the states in a punk band! I have some issues I am dealing with right now...
Anyway – conceptually I wanted to do a few over the top fantasy-style environments that unfolded as the camera pans from left to right. Pretty simple execution, very visually intense, but not too junked up. I got the idea for the "HELL YEAH" tag line after a night out with the guys. Seemed like a somewhat positive war-cry for the apathetic youth of today... Man, I wish I had a time machine.
